Camping at 4,000 feet means for chilly mornings. Making a fire to keep warm is often a necessity when it’s 40 degrees (or even cooler)! I dressed my kids in at least two layers at night. Monkey wore a onesie, fleece romper and fleece snowsuit and he was co-sleeping with me but sometimes he moved around. Giraffe had on thermals along with fleece jammies over and a fleece jacket. As always, I followed the safe co-sleeping guidelines. Here are a few morning pics!
